Smart PEC: AI in Advanced Email Management
Certified Email (PEC) was born as a formal security tool, but in recent years it has transformed into a digital river flowing through offices at a rate unmanageable for most people. In some Italian public bodies, the volume of messages exceeds 20,000 per month, and unlike regular email, each certified email (PEC) entails requirements , processing times, and litigation risks, generating an increasingly heavy workload
In this context, the integration of Artificial Intelligence services based on Large Language Models (LLM) into the processes managed by Jamio's "PEC Manager" is not a simple technological "plug-in", but represents a real revolution in the PEC management process.
From reading to decision, in a matter of seconds
Thanks to Large Language Models, the process analyzes the text and attachments of each message, classifies content, identifies the internal recipient, generates a summary with relevant information, assigns priority level , detects any deadlines , and suggests responses and actions . In just a few dozen seconds, the internal recipient has everything they need to process the message and, in some cases, the process can manage it completely autonomously.
A model that learns from the organization
The operational efficiency of an AI-based model depends on its ability to understand the structure and functioning of the organization in which it is inserted.
, thanks to its advanced process management and organizational structure , allows the activation of supervised training processes fully integrated into the company context.
The result is an intelligent system capable of correctly interpreting the institution's specific vocabulary – including regulatory terminology and internal acronyms – ensuring human oversight of critical decisions and promoting a human-in-the-loop .
Time-to-value and risk reduction
no-code paradigm makes it possible to integrate LLM services into business processes in a short time , allowing you to quickly measure the return on investment . Furthermore, it allows you to replicate the same principles on other document flows, such as emails, contracts, administrative documents, tickets, etc.
Added to these advantages are benefits that are less easily monetisable but have a great impact: routing errors disputes related to delays, fewer lost opportunities due to the lack of information governance, greater transparency and traceability , and a proactive alignment with the guidelines set out in the future European AI-Act .
Towards a culture of “assisted decision-making”
The introduction of an intelligent PEC represents a testing ground for a broader concept: “assisted decision-making” , in which Large Language Models do not replace decision-makers, but enhance their capabilities , freeing up time and skills for higher value-added activities.
As an organization balances regulatory requirements, cost pressures, and a growing demand for quality digital services, investing in a system that integrates Artificial Intelligence , Business Process Management no-code technologies is no longer a cutting-edge technical exercise, but a corporate strategy . From this perspective, "Smart PEC" can become the first step in a and process management ecosystem where technology evolves into a truly strategic asset .

Jamio Community Day 2025: The future of innovation is already here. And it's (also) No Code.

“They didn't know it was impossible. So they did it.” The closing quote of Jamio Community Day 2025 perfectly sums up its spirit: bold, concrete, shared.
After two years, Jamio Community Day returns as a crucial hub for the Italian no-code community, taking place at the Experis Manpower Group headquarters in Milan .
More than just a technology showcase, it's also a place for businesses, partners, and innovators to meet.
Claudia Rossi, a journalist from SOIEL International who hosted the event,

CIOs, Cloud, and Use Cases: Voices of Change
Guests such as Salvatore Basile (Experis) and Luca Dozio (Osservatori Polimi) charted a clear course: digitalization is a necessity. In this scenario, no-code complements traditional IT, extends its impact, and helps overcome barriers to skills and governance. Cloud market data shows growing maturity, but also operational challenges. No-code is thus establishing itself as a concrete lever for integrating AI, automating, and better connecting business and technology.
Real experiences, real transformations
The roundtable brought together very diverse companies—from Amada Italia to Engie, from Fiduciaria Giardini to PwC and Experis—united by a common thread: using Jamio to truly innovate. Amada has digitized its entire order-to-cash cycle. Fiduciaria Giardini has built advanced solutions without in-house IT. Engie has integrated the platform to manage certified emails and reduce shadow IT. PwC and Experis discussed collaboration between partners and the need for a shared no-code culture.
Community and skills: the driving force of the future
The Jamio community isn't an afterthought: it's central. It's where users and partners co-create value, share experiences, and fuel product evolution. At the same time, new corporate figures—the "champions"—are emerging, capable of driving rapid change thanks to agile skills, even without a technical background.
Openwork's gaze
Salvatore Latronico outlined Openwork's vision: platform evolution, private AI and no coding, UI improvements, and a focus on key areas such as certified email (PEC), GRC, and document automation. Not just technology, but a new way of working, together with customers and partners.
From “No Code” to “Jamio Impact”
Jamio Community Day demonstrated that no-code is a means, not an end. It's what allows for action, innovation, and true engagement. For this reason, rather than "No Code," we should start talking about Jamio Impact.

"BPM, AI, and No-Code to Digitize the Public Administration": Conference proceedings and a use case. Download the PDF

At the PA 2025 Forum , the main national event dedicated to innovation in Public Administration, Salvatore Latronico , CEO of Openwork, spoke on the topic of “BPM, Artificial Intelligence and No-Code to digitize the PA” .
In his speech, Latronico highlighted how the digital transformation of the PA can no longer be limited to the simple computerization of paper forms, but must translate into a complete rethinking of processes , through agile, scalable and accessible platforms , capable of responding quickly and sustainably to the needs of citizens and administrations.
Starting from this vision, a cloud solution built with the Jamio openwork allowed those present to experience firsthand the effectiveness of no-code technologies in supporting organizations operating in the public sector.
The conference proceedings are now available
