Cloud adoption in Italy grew by 16% compared to 2020.

This is the scenario that emerged from the Cloud Transformation Observatory Italian cloud market currently worth €3.84 billion (up 16% from last year) PaaS services recording the best performance compared to 2020 (+31%), while IaaS and SaaS , which are up 23% and 13%, respectively, are experiencing the same growth.

However, 34% of Italian companies stated that cloud investments were not followed by organizational change or actions aimed at enhancing the digital skills of their human resources, nor were existing business processes replanned.

The evolution of information systems in Italian companies, therefore, confirms a trend increasingly toward Cloud Transformation , with an application portfolio oriented toward both public and private clouds, and increasingly distant from an on-premise approach.
