In the context of changes and innovation in the treatment of chronic and neurodegenerative neurological diseases, there is a pressing need to ensure that complex patients receive an increasingly multidisciplinary approach to care.
The AINAT event, which will be held in Puglia , specifically in Monopoli (Hotel Vecchio Mulino) on October 27th and 28th, aims to activate, with the help of eHealth experts, increasingly structured and integrated networks. We believe that a multidisciplinary approach, in collaboration with IT management, can be a good path to creating a valid working model, given that the progressive aging of the population requires highly diversified care and an ever-increasing attention to social-care and rehabilitation needs, as well as access to tests, therapies, and the use of medications.
The event will feature parallel sessions with roundtables dedicated to several neurological disciplines , with the aim of leveraging the RETE system for the implementation of PDTA. The meeting will be enriched by discussions with colleagues from Corridor 8 (Albania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Montenegro, Macedonia, and Kosovo) aimed at research in collaboration with the three Hubs (San Giovanni Rotondo, Bari, and Tricase) and at the implementation of various care models by local neurologists.
Openwork a company already involved in several projects on the topic, having won prestigious awards and recognitions for its cloud-based digital health , will be present as a technology sponsor at the 14th AINAT Conference, scheduled for Puglia . An Openwork speaker will also be present during the plenary session, along with a concluding round table discussion with industry experts.
