This year too, Assintel has published an update on the global ICT market, noting that, despite a slight and temporary decline, companies continue to invest in Information Technology, generating a value of approximately 31 billion euros .
As for the snapshot of the Italian , the trend continues to be positive (and who knows how things will evolve from this point of view in the time of Covid); Assintel data underlines a trend in the sectors oriented mainly towards a review of their business models (40%) , greater valorization of data (26%) and automation (19%) .
The data paints a rather interesting picture, showing how Italian companies are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits obtained from new technologies and how these are capable of generating a certain digital maturity , such as to offer increasingly high-performance products and services in line with new trends in order to compete on the market .
Other important data concern the TECH components and those that Italian companies prefer most; here, therefore, is the list of technologies currently driving Digital Innovation in Italy :
– Virtual and augmented reality +160.5%
– Wearables +116.2%
– AI +39.1%
– Public Cloud +26.1%
– IoT +24%
– Data analytics +7.6%
