ITS Apulia Digital Maker & "Developer 4.0" Programs: Openwork Collaboration

In 2019, 46% of job advertisements for software developers remained unanswered.
This is the data emerged in the report of the Digital Skills Observatory , which prompted the ITS Apulia Digital Maker to expand its range of offerings and promote "Developer 4.0" also in Bari , following Foggia, Molfetta, and Lecce.

The 1,800-hour courses, spread over a year, will be funded by the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR) and the Puglia Region through EU funds. They represent an exciting opportunity for Puglian graduates to receive IT training through companies in the Puglia IT Production District, headed by Salvatore Latronico (CEO of Openwork) .

The courses are aimed at training experts in Java Enterprise Edition, Big Data and Cloud for IT and ICT services, software and app developers with high-level skills, but also experts in Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET and other programming languages and applications for current sectors such as Cybersecurity , Fintech and E-Health .

Nine companies from the District will currently collaborate on the initiative promoted by ITS Apulia Digital Maker , including Openwork , which confirms its active role in the digital skills sector, following its recent collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Bari  (with which it conceived the BPM Competence Center project) . The other companies participating in the project are Auriga, Eusoft, Exprivia, Loran, Links Management and Technology, Mtm Project, Sidea Group, and Sysman.

All will have the objective of sharing their knowledge during the course hours and of hosting students for their respective internships, with the opportunity to be hired directly by the companies that will have trained them. Furthermore, the training project includes the issuing of a European EQF level V diploma and a series of professional certifications .
