ITS Apulia Digital Maker & "Developer 4.0" pathways: the Openwork collaboration

In 2019, 46 percent of job ads for software developers remained unanswered.
This is the finding in theDigital Skills Observatory report that promptedITS Apulia Digital Maker to expand its range of offers and promote "Developer 4.0" pathways in Bari as well, after Foggia, Molfetta and Lecce.

The courses in question, of 1,800 hours - spread over one year - will be financed by the Miur and the Apulia Region through EU Funds representing, therefore, an interesting opportunity for Apulian graduates in order to take advantage of training in IT through the companies of the Apulian Information Technology Productive District of which Salvatore Latronico (CEO Openwork) is the president.

The courses are aimed at training experts in Java Enterprise Edition, Big data and Cloud for computing and ICT services, software and app developers with high-level skills, and also experts in Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET and other programming languages and applications for sectors of the moment such as Cybersecurity, Fintech and E- Health.

Nine companies in the District will currently collaborate in the initiative promoted by ITS Apulia Digital Maker, among them is Openwork, which confirms its active role on the issue of digital skills in the wake of its recent collaboration with the Politecnico di Bari (with which it conceived the Competence Center project on BPM); the other companies participating in the project are Auriga, Eusoft, Exprivia, Loran, Links Management and Technology, Mtm Project, Sidea Group, and Sysman.

All of them will aim to share their knowledge during the course hours and host students for their respective internship paths, with the opportunity to be hired directly by the companies that will have trained them.In addition, the training project includes the issuance of a European EQF Level V diploma and a series of professional certifications.
