Opportunities for Apulian SMEs: funding from the Puglia Region to promote Smart Working

The Puglia Region has launched a public notice to promote initiatives aimed at encouraging "corporate welfare" and new forms of family-friendly , with funding of up to €100,000 (for more information on the initiative, visit this link ).

The Covid-19 has forced everyone to always have their company close at hand, without having to go to the office. This widespread need has accelerated regional procedures to enable the adoption, in Apulian SMEs , of work organization models based on de-standardized hours, telecommuting , and smart working competitiveness and work organization models geared toward:

• well-being of workers, both male and female, and their families
• safeguard the continued employment of those who are also involved in family care
• reduce absences due to "lack of conciliation"
• increase productivity
• promote the preservation of professional paths
• retain talent and hard skills in the company

The Notice finances the drafting and implementation of a Family Friendly Innovation Plan in SMEs , as well as the preparatory training for the implementation of the plan itself, up to a maximum of €100,000.00 , also allowing for the acquisition of software and ICT solutions that facilitate the development of a “family friendly” work organization.
