Russia is looking with interest at information technologies developed in Puglia , particularly those for digital payments, laboratory analysis, healthcare, and business process management.
This was revealed during the two-day incoming mission of Russian ICT professionals organized by the Puglia Region's Internationalization Section with the technical assistance of the in-house company Puglia Sviluppo Spa , in collaboration with Confindustria Bari-BAT , the Puglia IT Production District , and the Russoft Association . The goal was to promote collaboration opportunities between Puglia's manufacturing system and Russian companies operating in IT services, software development, and applications for the logistics, manufacturing, and IoT sectors.
" Russia ," declared Salvatore Latronico, president of the Apulian IT Production District , " is a lively market for the ICT sector and for high technology; for this reason, we are confident that today's meetings will soon transform into collaborations and exchanges between the skills and products developed by Apulian and Russian IT companies."
The delegation in Bari , which included representatives from two major Russian IT companies, the Rossoft Association and the Skolkovo Foundation, held B2B meetings with several companies and, the following day, visited companies of particular interest. Contacts were also made to evaluate Apulian investments in Russia .
