The University of Turin , Department of Management, in collaboration with the Accounting and Accountability Technologies Association (APS) and the Openwork , recently signed an agreement aimed at studying, disseminating, and applying emerging technologies for the growth and development of businesses and professional firms in the accounting and accountability field. The shared interest focuses on study, research, teaching, and application of no-code technologies for software development without using programming languages ; an emerging advantage in the digitalization field for small, medium, and large organizations seeking to rapidly undertake digital transformation . This no-code approach is enabling the emergence of a new profession: the Citizen Developer . Individuals with expertise in business application domains but without advanced IT skills can create business applications and assist organizations in their digital transformation using centralized development environments governed and controlled by the organization's IT. The collaborative effort between the University of Turin and Openwork includes not only teaching, courses, and research on no-code technologies applied to business processes , but also events, conferences, lectures, roundtables, and collaborations with national and international organizations. This framework agreement builds on Openwork's years of commitment through collaborative projects with the Polytechnic University of Bari .
