Non-repayable incentives to introduce Innovation Managers and enable Italian SMEs digitalization projects needed to become " Industry 4.0 ."
Thanks to this measure, included in the latest budget law, businesses will be able to benefit from vouchers worth up to €40,000 , covering up to 50% of costs incurred in 2019 and 2020 to access the consultancy of an expert whose aim is to " support technological and digital transformation processes through the enabling technologies envisaged in the ' National Industry 4.0 Plan ' and to modernize the company's management and organizational structures, including access to financial and capital markets."
For business networks, the voucher value doubles to €80,000 . The incentive falls under the 'de minimis' regime and can therefore be combined with other non-state aid.
The Innovation Manager will be chosen from a list, which will be created by the Ministry of Economic Development , which will include professionals who meet certain requirements.
For many companies, this initiative could provide a decisive impetus to embark on an innovation . To achieve successful results, this process must be carefully studied and tailored to the needs of the business. This is a complex process that allows for the identification of the technologies best suited to meet business needs and the activities to be digitized first, as well as, in many cases, the redefinition of workloads and workflows . These are all areas where a good Innovation Manager can make a difference .
