This year too, Assintel has published an update on the global ICT market, noting that, despite a slight and temporary downturn, companies continue to invest in Information Technology, generating a value of approximately 31 billion euros.
As for the snapshot of the Italian, the trend continues to be positive (and who knows how things will evolve from this point of view in the time of Covid); Assintel data underlines a trend in the sectors oriented mainly towards a review of their business models (40%), greater valorization of data (26%) and automation (19%).
The data paints a rather interesting picture, showing how Italian companies are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits obtained from new technologies and how these are capable of generating a certain digital maturity, such as to offer increasingly high-performance products and services in line with new trends in order to compete on the market.
Other important data concern the TECH components and those that Italian companies prefer most; here, therefore, is the list of technologies currently driving Digital Innovation in Italy:
– Virtual and augmented reality +160.5%
– Wearables +116.2%
– AI +39.1%
– Public Cloud +26.1%
– IoT +24%
– Data analytics +7.6%
