Towards Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities and Prospects for Italy

The hour has come for artificial intelligence too: the first call for proposals for funding included in the budget law for projects involving artificial intelligence, blockchain, and IoT.
The announcement was made by Il Sole24Ore, according to which the competition will be launched through an international 'Challenge' that will offer a portion of the allocation provided by the MISE fund (15 million euros for each of the years 2019, 2020, and 2021), in order to pursue economic and industrial policy objectives aimed at increasing the competitiveness and productivity of the Italian market with a view to Industry 4.0.

The first planned projects will concern the interconnection of databases and the fight against tax evasion, thus directing attention towards artificial intelligence in Public Administration.

Meanwhile, Openwork is also active on the AI theme through an event that will take place in Milan.
On March 4th, at Microsoft House, Openwork & Microsoft will present new scenarios on digital, with particular attention to the management of cloud oriented towards the intelligent application services of Microsoft Azure.

It will be an opportunity for SMEs and large organizations to increase their knowledge of the opportunities offered by digital technologies in light of impending market changes.
