Digital Transformation in Manufacturing: New Incentives for SMEs

With the aim of supporting the technological and digital transformation of SMEs, the terms of the new call for proposals promoted by the Ministry of Economic Development have been defined.

starting next December 15th, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the manufacturing sector and in direct services to manufacturing companies will be able to submit applications for the implementation of projects aimed at integrating digital technological solutions in the supply chain.

The projects in question must include:
– Process and organizational innovations
– Investment programs

The financial endowment consists of a budget of 100 million euros to be distributed through a one-stop procedure which, in turn, provides for the provision of incentives for those projects that have reached a minimum score threshold of 60/100.

If there is a shortage in the provision of resources, it may be necessary to draw up a ranking based on the required qualifications and the evaluation obtained.
