The celebratory event organized by InnovaPuglia for the 50th anniversary of the founding of CSATA (Center for Studies and Applications in Advanced Technologies) – the body from which InnovaPuglia descends – is scheduled for today, November 26th at 3:00 pm in Bari
The Center for Studies and Applications in Advanced Technologies is a non-profit association founded on September 19, 1969, and is made up of public and private entities. Its founding members were the University of Bari , the Bank of Italy , Nuovo Pignone, and Formez . InnovaPuglia's predecessor is thus celebrating 50 years of commitment as a center for research, technology transfer, and training in computer science.
Speakers at the event will include Salvatore Latronico President of the Apulian IT Productive District.
Piero Cosoli , Senior Program Manager at Openwork and Past Director of the Technologies & Systems Division at Tecnopolis CSATA, will also be present.
The event will also be an opportunity for discussion and reflection on the state of the art of digitalization in the public administration and on future innovation projects for the evolution of IT services in the Puglia region .
It's also worth noting that the event is part of a program organized by Il Sole 24 Ore entitled " Innovation Day: Local Excellence ," aimed at describing and sharing the innovation and sustainability models that have helped generate examples of local excellence.
The project includes six Italian stops: Milan, Bologna, Verona, and Naples (events already held), concluding with Bari in November and Rome in December.
