The long-awaited voucher for Innovation Managers now exists and is legally binding, but for now, only for SMEs.
Let's take it one step at a time: small businesses are entitled to an annual voucher of €40,000 , reimbursable as a non-repayable grant covering up to 50% of the costs incurred to acquire consulting services aimed at technological and digital transformation processes for the development of small organizations in line with Industry 4.0 . The range of incentive options also includes projects to modernize a company's management and organizational assets, as well as interventions to access financial and capital markets.
For medium-sized enterprises, the incentive threshold cannot exceed €25,000 , with a reimbursement rate of only 30%. For companies that legally business networks, the incentive increases to €80,000 with a reimbursement rate of 50%.
Starting in April 2019, SMEs will be able to consult the register of Innovation Managers that the Ministry of Economic Development will make available to help them select the right professional or company to launch digital transformation projects.
Thanks to this government initiative, several Italian companies will now be able to benefit from a key figure in the digital development of their information systems and technological infrastructures. Innovation Managers will be at the heart of this innovation cycle and will be responsible for identifying the best solutions for their companies' needs. This is no easy task given the inexhaustible array of technologies that have emerged over the past decade, particularly those oriented toward the Cloud , a highly topical and highly relevant topic that is further driving the movement toward increasingly efficient, secure, and borderless collaborative approaches.
