At the 'Innovation-friendly' event in Genoa, Base Protection and Duferco Energia presented their simple and successful digital transformations with the Jamio platform.
Two simple, successful digital transformation stories using Openwork's Jamio BPM platform were presented at the "Innovation-Friendly" event in Genoa. In the first case, the platform's introduction supported the development of Barletta-based Base Protection , a manufacturer of anti-fatigue work shoes , which achieved 140% revenue growth between 2013 and 2017. The technology has streamlined and simplified customer onboarding (from five days to one) and the development phase for new products (which now takes three months versus eight in the past), improved returns procedures, and halved the time required to prepare all the necessary documentation.
In the second case, the same technology allowed the Genoa-based multi-utility Duferco Energia (150,000 customers, over a billion in turnover in 2017, a 25% growth over 2016) to reconsider the certified email (PEC ) in an innovative way, freeing it from the single operator that manages it and making it more aligned with its needs.
At Duferco, certified email (PEC) is now useful for both overall process control and ensuring operational, economic, and financial security. This approach also provides numerous benefits for the company: centralized process management, reduced training hours and the number of technologies used, and optimized supplier and contract management.
