The Region of Puglia has announced the Public Notice for the promotion of initiatives aimed at fostering "corporate welfare" and new forms of "family friendly" work organization, with funding of up to €100,000 (for more on the initiative visit this link).
The Covid19 emergency has confronted everyone with the need to always have the company at hand, without having to go to the office. This widespread need speeded up Regional procedures to enable the adoption, in Apulian SMEs, of work organization models marked by de-standardization of schedules, teleworking and smart working, elements recognized as indispensable to work-life balance, which, especially during the emergency, proved pivotal to the development of models of competitiveness and work organization oriented to:
- well-being of workers, female workers and their families
- safeguard the stay at work of those also engaged in family caregiving
- reduce absenteeism due to "lack of reconciliation"
- increase productivity
- foster the safeguarding of career paths
- retain talent and hard skills in the company
The Notice finances the drafting and implementation of a Family Friendly Innovation Plan in SMEs, as well as training preparatory to the implementation of the plan itself, up to a maximum of 100,000.00 euros, also allowing the acquisition of software and ICT solutions that facilitate the development of a "family friendly" work organization.
