Jamio, in fact, exposes an OpenAPI REST Gateway that allows any type of external system to be able to interact with Jamio solutions, just as any Jamio process can invoke, through special objects called Service Tasks, any type of service that exposes APIs.

In addition to this, a number of services are already available in the platform, called Jamio Plug, which integrate market-standard technologies, made in order to free the designer from any integration burden by exposing an interface consistent with Jamio's logic and no-code principles.

How Jamio Plugs Work

Jamio Plugs are particular Jamio platform services that expose ancillary functionality related to specific application domains and provided by third parties. Each Plug exposes several methods, each of which invokes specific functionality. At design time, during the modeling of a process, it is possible to invoke the specific method of a Plug through the use of a Service task. Consumption charging for the use of Jamio Plugs is done through Jamio Beats: a unit of measurement that quantifies the usage of the methods exposed by Jamio Plugs. Each method corresponds to a different number of Jamio Beats, depending on its technical and functional characteristics. The consequence has important business advantages. The value of this approach lies in the fact that in order to perform operations such as sending an SMS or WhatsApp or a PEC, managing and verifying OTPs, sending notifications, having advanced electronic signatures or electronic seals affixed, taking documents into digital preservation in compliance, launching a Survey, writing or reading from an excel, etc...it is no longer necessary to initiate expensive organizational procedures, since Jamio thinks of everything!
