AMADA Italia has reached an exciting milestone with the introduction of Jamio . This strategic move marks a crucial turning point in order management, revolutionizing the Order-to-Cash (O2C) flow and laying the foundation for a new era of efficiency and collaboration between various company departments.
Why was a change necessary?
In the past, AMADA 's order management processes were based on fragmented methods, such as Excel files and constant email exchanges. This approach generated complexity, delays, and sometimes avoidable errors, necessitating structural intervention to optimize operations and improve service quality.
Aiming to simplify and standardize processes, AMADA decided to partner with Openwork and adopt Jamio , a flexible and customizable platform. This project not only computerized existing processes, but also profoundly improved them, increasing transparency and efficiency.
A custom-designed system
The collaboration between the AMADA and Openwork has allowed us to build a system perfectly tailored to the company's needs. Here are some of the most popular features:
• Checklist Automation: Each stage of the O2C process is supported by a configurable task list that ensures key tasks are completed.
• Intelligent deadline management: The system sends automatic notifications to anticipate important deadlines, improving time management and reducing the risk of delays.
• Intuitive dashboards: Thanks to a graphical view of the status of orders, easily created with Business Intelligence tools, it is possible to monitor progress in real time and quickly identify critical issues.
A success already tangible
Just a few months after implementation, the benefits of the Jamio system are evident. Among the most significant results are:
• Error Reduction: Automation has significantly reduced human errors, increasing data accuracy and reliability.
• Operational efficiency: Order management times have been significantly reduced, allowing for better coordination among operational users. Thanks to a centralized and automated system, it was possible to eliminate many difficulties related to the constant search for information essential for the delivery of the machines sold. This has fostered greater peace of mind among the teams involved, reducing operational stress and improving the overall quality of work.
The next step: Trade-IN
A strategic area that represents the future of the system's evolution is the management of the Trade-IN process. This flow, which involves the collection and reconditioning of used machines, has already been analyzed and structured, but has not yet been fully implemented in the Jamio platform .
The goal is to create an equally streamlined and effective system that allows for easy management of documentation and operational details related to the return of used machinery. Once activated, the Trade-IN will offer concrete advantages, such as:
• Complete traceability: All information relating to used machines will be centralized, from the collection of photos and certifications to the verification of their suitability.
• Simplified processes: Thanks to the ability to automate certain tasks, a reduction in time and an improvement in the quality of operations are expected.
This represents the next big step for AMADA and demonstrates the company's commitment to continuous innovation and improvement.
Security and scalability: the pillars of the project
During the system's development and implementation, great attention was paid to data security. Each user accesses the platform via secure authentication, ensuring the protection of sensitive information. Furthermore, the cloud hosting option ensures high scalability and ongoing maintenance without operational disruptions.
Towards an increasingly digital future
The collaboration between AMADA and OPENWORK represents much more than a simple technology project. It has sparked a cultural shift within the company, promoting the adoption of innovative tools to address market challenges.
With the flexibility offered by the Jamio, AMADA is ready to quickly respond to new industry needs and further expand its capabilities. Projects already in the planning stages with Openwork's partners include the introduction of an advanced document retention system and the implementation of an internal ticketing, both designed to further improve operational efficiency and business management.
Conclusions
AMADA's adoption of Jamio is much more than a simple technology investment: it represents a strategic choice that is transforming the way we operate. The platform has not only allowed us to optimize processes and improve coordination between departments, but has also laid the foundation to confidently face new challenges and opportunities.
The ability to request changes and enhancements, which are implemented quickly, has allowed us to better revise our operations; aspects of our operational flows that seemed important have been scaled back, in favor of others that had been somewhat underestimated. This has led us to improve the perception of our operations, helping us to modify long-standing behaviors that would otherwise have been difficult to consider.
Looking to the future, the introduction of the Trade-IN and other projects already under development will allow us to further expand the platform's functionality. These innovations, combined with our ongoing commitment to excellence, consolidate AMADA's role as an industry leader, always focused on improving service and creating sustainable value for its customers.
