The Crikhet network - engaged in the development of innovative IT solutions for clinical e-governance, i.e., the optimization of diagnostic, therapeutic and care pathways related to the integrated care profile - was among the protagonists of the first national congress ofAiSDeT (Italian Association of Digital Health and Telemedicine) entitled 'Equity, Universality and Sustainability of the NHS.
Openwork, the lead company of the Crikhet network, provides the project with the technology of the BPM platform in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode 'Jamio Openwork'; to tell about the network's achievements, Salvatore Latronico, president and Innovation director of Openwork, also spoke at the conference held in Bari on Digital Health and Telemedicine .
The event was organized by AiSDeT to take stock of the role of digital health and telemedicine as strategic levers for ensuring access to health services, appropriateness of the care pathway, and caretaking is now inescapable. The scheduled speeches and panel discussions analyzed different aspects of the complex digital revolution that is affecting health care, which is being called upon to synthesize between the need to integrate the care process and the need to share data and information useful for improving the system.
It is in this scenario that the activity of the Crikhet network, created within the framework of Apulian ICT Living Labs to initiate an innovative collaboration between researchers, IT companies, institutions and organized groups of citizens and users, is located. A system innovation that is based on continuous communication, made possible thanks to the features of the 'Jamio openwork' platform: in fact, its technology allows the management with simple tools of complex information provided by the many figures operating within the inter-professional patient care structure. In addition, the integrated care processes are more efficient and contribute to the reduction of clinical risk and total expenditure.
