From problems to solutions in textiles: Openwork at Ametlab event for digital supply chain

The Ametlab event dedicated to exploring new approaches, in the Italian textile and fashion sector, to make their businesses increasingly competitive was held Friday, Nov. 30, in Martina Franca.
The workshop, promoted by Daniele Del Genio (president of Federmoda Puglia), was attended by more than 20 entrepreneurs who were able to confront the solutions offered by Openwork (cloud platform to manage the production chain); MakersValley (marketplace to connect Italian manufacturers with brands and boutiques from tutot the world); and TBM (consulting and business network development company).

The meeting, centered on business issues and business culture, allowed participants to share the fruit of the work of four partners(Rossorame, a well-known brand that dresses celebrities, Calceviva a Fashion Design consulting firm, Ametlab a production laboratory, and Openwork, a provider of Business Process Management platform delivered as a Cloud service) who, by combining know-how in their fields, have generated an innovative solution dedicated also to the Fashion industry.

The solution, created to make the production chain DIGITAL, allows to involve, in a single collaborative process, customers, company and suppliers by making the production processes more performant , governing the activities, times of each person involved and to monitor the progress of processing.
