Russia looks with interest at the information technologies developed in Puglia and in particular those for digital payments, laboratory analysis, healthcare and business process management.
This is what emerged during the two-day 'incoming' mission of Russian ICT operators organized by the Internationalization Section of the Apulia Region with the technical assistance of the in-house company Puglia Sviluppo Spa, in collaboration with Confindustria Bari-BAT, the Apulian Information Technology Productive District and theRussoft Association. Objective, to promote opportunities for collaboration between the Apulian production system and Russian companies operating in IT services, software development and applications for the logistics, manufacturing and IoT sectors.
"Russia," said Salvatore Latronico, president of the Apulian Information Technology Productive District, " is a vibrant market for the ICT sector and high technology; therefore, we are confident that today's meetings will soon turn into collaborations and exchanges between the skills and products developed by Apulian and Russian IT companies.
The delegation present in Bari, composed of, among others, representatives of two important Russian Information Technology entities, the Rossoft Association and the Skolkovo Foundation, had B2B meetings with a number of companies and, the following day, participated in visits to companies of particular interest to them. There was no shortage of contacts to evaluate Apulian investments in Russia.
"This meeting ," Latronico added, " marks the beginning of a relationship with territories that represent the natural extension of Eastern European countries, which Apulian IT companies are already exploring with interest to expand their business.
Below is the report produced by TRM Network on the topic: also on the microphones was Salvatore Latronico in his capacity as president of the Apulia Information Technology Manufacturing District.
