Salvatore Latronico at Nòva's Cyber Security - Sole 24 Ore.

On March 27, the third stage of the cybersecurity tour "Cyber Security- the evolution of security in the 4.0 ecosystem" was held in the Salone degli Affreschi of the University of Bari, organized by Nòva del Sole 24 Ore.

Salvatore Latronico, president of Openwork, spoke at the conference in his capacity as president of the Apulian Information Technology Manufacturing District, addressing "Apulia at Work on Organizational Models to Ensure Information Security."

As stated by Latronico, "...Onaverage, in 52 percent of cases, cyber attacks originate within organizations, with peaks of more than 70 percent in healthcare and finance: in particular, the greatest risks come from unintentional actions of employees and from viruses introduced into computer systems from within (source IBM X-force 2017)."

During the speech, Salvatore Latronico also pointed out possible solutions to defend against and prevent attacks.

Also speaking at the conference were: Laura Ruggiero, deputy vice president of Confindustria Bari and BAT; the president of Cini (National Inter-University Consortium for Information Technology), Paolo Prinetto; Maurizio Marcelli, head of Network Resilience at Tim; and Donato Malerba, director of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bari.
