University of Turin, Department of Management, with the collaboration of theAssociation of Technologies for Accounting and Accountability Aps and the company Openwork, recently signed an agreement aimed at the study, dissemination and application of emerging technologies for the growth and development of companies and professional firms from the perspective of accounting and accountability.
The focus of the common interest is study, research, education and application on no-code technologies for software development without using programming languages; an emerging plus in digitalization for small, medium and large organizations that want to embark on a rapid digital transformation path.
An approach, the no-code approach, that allows the emergence of a new profession: the Citizen Developer. Individuals who are experts in business application domains but lack advanced IT skills can bring business applications to life and help organizations on digital transformation paths using centralized development environments and under the governance and control of the organization's IT.
The synergistic work between theUniversity of Turin and Openwork includes not only teaching, courses and research on no-code technologies applied to business processes, but also events, conferences, roundtables and collaborations with national and international entities.
A framework agreement that adds to the efforts already made in recent years by Openwork through collaborative projects with the Polytechnic University of Bari.
