Once again this year Assintel has published the global situation report on the ICT market noting how, despite a slight and momentary downturn, companies continue to invest in Information Technology generating a value of about 31 billion euros.
As far as the picture of the Italian scenario is concerned, the trend continues to be positive (and who knows at the time of Covid how things will be evolving from this point of view); Assintel data point to a trend of scopes oriented mainly toward revisiting their Business models (40 percent ), greater exploitation of data (26 percent) and automation (19 percent).
A rather interesting picture emerges from the data from which it is possible to see how Italian companies are becoming increasingly aware of the benefits obtained from new technologies and how these are able to originate in companies a certain Digital maturity, such as to offer products and services that are increasingly performing and in line with new trends in order to compete in the market.
Other important data concern the TECH components and those that Italian companies prefer the most; thus, here is the list of technologies that are driving Digital Innovation in Italy right now:
- Virtual and augmented reality +160.5%
- Wearable devices +116.2%
- AI +39.1%
- Public Cloud +26.1%
- IoT +24%
- Data analytics +7.6%
